Robert De Niro plays a retired man who has unfortunately just lost his wife to cancer who he was faithful to from the moment they were married. He wishes for one thing that his grandson ,played by Zac Efron, drives him down to Florida where he spent every year with his wife before her death.
Tricked into thinking it was a sentimental road trip, Jason kelly (the grandson) then finds out his grandfathers real motives, to sleep with as many women as possible.
Released in 2016, written by John Phillips and directed by Dan Mazer this comedy features themes like love,deception, coming of age, family, drugs, romance, violence and secrets. It produced $11,111,875 during it's opening weekend with only a budget of $11.5 million.
The production companies behind this film were Lionsgate, QED international and Josephson entertainment.
